MAIN HIGHWAYS THROUGH BOROUGH.
At Monday night’s meeting of the Borough Council! the Town Clerk submitted .specifications of work to be done on the main highways in the borough for the year ending 31st March, 1920. The total cost of the work will amount to £437 9s 6d, of which the borough’s share on a subsidy of £2 for £l, will he £145 16s (id. The cost of the work on the Wcllington-Auckland section ainounts to £153 16s 6d. FoxtonShannon, £153 7s 6d and Beach Road £l3O 5s 6d.
