BOWLING CLUB CONCERT.

THURSDAY EVENING,

Judging from the rapid sale of tickets and the pleasant atmosphere enveloping the function, the visiting artists may look forward to performing before a large audience on Thursday evening of this week. That the number 13 is unlucky will (be entirely disproved. r l he eomlmiittee, acting upon requests from intending patrons, have decided to set aside several rows of seats in the orchestral stalls in order that patrons subject to defects of hearing or vision may enjoy the performance on equal terms ■with those m'ore fortunate in these i espects. Orchestral stalls will bear the same charge of admission as the circle, viz., 2/-. ■Some local residents appear to •he under a misapprehension -with regard ito the order of the programlme. The poster's merely show the programme of artists, but 'the order in Which they appear is in the hands of the concert committee, and will be so arranged as to afford variety, and the audience can resit assured that not one irksome moment will be experienced throughout the entire programme. The entertainment will open with a pianoforte duet by Miss Nellie Woods, A.T.C.L., and Miss K. Rooire, A.T.C.L., “Rapsody Hongroise” (Lizst), after which will follow the official programme in sequence. ‘The committee have had the pleasure of giving audience to all the visiting artists and feel confident that after the concert on Thursday night requests will he made for the artists reappearance in Foxton on some future occasion.
