A BROKEN SEWER.

At last night’s 'Borough Council meeting it was reported that there was a. blockage in the Robinson Street sewer -Caused by the breaking of the pipe. It was pointed out that this section of the sewerage scheme was laid in wet ground and water and sand pressure had broken the pipes. It would ibe necessary in order (o avoid further'trouble and expense -to relay concrete sewer pipes between Norbiton Road and Jenks Street bedded in cement and iron. It was pointed out that this work would cost from £l2O to £l5O. It was" decided that .the work he undertaken immediately.
