WEDDING.
McKENNA—'LAMP P. An interesting wedding was solemnised at St. Mary’s Church, l’oxton, on Tuesday, May 21, when Mary Fanzlove (Flo), eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Lampp, was married 'to Denis, fifth son of Mr. and Mrs. McKenna, Counity Kerry, Ireland.. The ceremony was performed toy Rev. Brennan. The bride who entered the church on the arm of her fattier, looked charming in a gown of cream crepe de ehene with silver lace and blue spray, and wearing the orthodox veil, which was embroidered silk tulle held in place with orange blossom, a gift frolm Mjrs. J. McKenna, Masterton. She carried a beautiful bouquet made'by Mrs. L. Atkins, Manakau. Miss Minnie (Paddy) Lampp attended her .sister ns chief bridesmaid, and her cousin, Miss Flossie Price who were attired in pink and palest green crepe de ehene respectively, with hats, shoes and stockings to lone, wearing 'respectively a signet ring and a string of pearls, the gifts of the bridegroom. Both bridesmaids carried bouquets to match their frocks, made by Mrs. Boswell, Marotiri. The duties of best man and groomsman were carried out by Mr. J. McKenna and Mr. C: Madden respectively. After the ceremony, a reception was he'ld in the' Moutoa hall, where 150 guests were entertained. The usual toasts mere honoured. A three-tier cake made by Mr. J. Walls, of Foxton, was much admired by the guests. The bride’s mother received her guests wearing a black frock trimmed with lioral crepe de ehene. Later, the happy couple left amid showers of confetti for their honeymoon, the bride wearing a smart repp frock with fox ifnr, the gift of the 'bridegroom.. An evening was also held for the young Callus and many visitors frolm far and near wore present.
