Adapted from the highly successful stage play “Pawned,” the plot of .the story tells of an unscrupulous financier who measures’ the reputations of all women in terms of cash and precipitates a double domestic .crisis. Leading roles are played by John Stuart (of “Sailors Don’t Care” fame), and Gladys Jennings, one of England’s comingscreen stars. Also screening on Friday are “Walter the Sleuth” (comedy), and British NeAVS. Usual prices. “Win That G-irl,” said to he one of the most hilarious comedies of football ever brought to the silver sheet, is screening at the Toavu Hall on Saturday. This is a David Butin- production for Fox Films. It is based upon a Saturday Evening Post story, “Father and Son,” and was written by James Hooper. John Stone did the continuity. Sue Carol, refreshing little Chicago beauty, is seen in the leading feminine role. She will he remembered for her excellent portrayal with Richard Walling in “Slave's of Beauty.” David Rollins, avlio is the good-looking youth who won the girl from Nick Stuart in “High School Hero,” plays opposite Miss Carol in this new Butler production.
