Mr. and Mrs. J. McKenna are at present on a visit to Foxton, and are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Newton. A quiet wedding was celebrated in the Palmerston North Presbyterian Church yesterday by Ren. J. H. Bredin, when Basil John, second son of Mr. and Mrs. John Walls, of Foxton, Avas united to Rose Margaret, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Holden, of Shannon. After their honeymoon Mr. and Mrs. Wlalls Avail take up their residence in Foxton.
A wedding of considez-able interest among local and district Natives Avas celebrated at Manawatu Heads on Sunday, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. Eparaima, when Olive, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Avbniata, of Foxton Road, was united to Inia Eparaima (Hindu), foster son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Eparaima, of ManaAvatu Heads. The Rev. iTemuera Tokoaitua, of Otaki, was the officiating clergyman. There was a large gathering of Natives present for the occasion, representative of all parts of the district.
