WESTELLA ESTATE
RESULT OF BALLOT. The ballot for the Westella sections purchased iby the Government for closer settlement, was held in the Drill Hall, Feilding, on Thursday. Of 169 applications received the Commissioner approved of 96, which went to the ballot. The following is the result of the ballot, the name of the purchaser being mentioned in each ease:— _J 'Section one: 66 acres, capital value £3000; A. Waugh, Martiuborough. Section two: 68 acres, capital value £3000; Mr. and Mrs. Cochrane, Wiahakaronga. Section three: 70 acres, capital value £4000; Jack Wallace, Hastings. Section four: 771 acres, capital value £4000; Wilseid Anson, Palmerston Afortk. ■Section five: 02 acres, capital value £3700; C. G. Kendrick, Paliiatua. Section six: 63 acres, capital \alue £3800; Robert Grant, Dannevirke. Section seven: 74 acres, capital value £4650; J. E. Lund, Napier. Section eight: 75 acres, capital value £5000; B. Khisker, Thames. Section nine: 70 acres, capital value £4300; H. Aline bin, Tailmpe. Section ten: 68 acres, capital value £3700; R. P. Griffin, Feathcustom Section eleven: 71 acres, capital value £3850; E. Williams, Woodville. Section twelve: 65 acres, capital value £3700; R. J. Stewart, Feilding.
