PRESBYTERIAN LADIES GUILD.

There was a record attendance of members and friends at the Presbyterian Ladies Social Guild on Friday afternoon at the residence of Mrs. A. Ross, Purcell St. Two interesting and original competitions caused great amusement. A dainty afternoon tea was dispensed by the hostess, Mrs. A. Ross. The first group of ladies made arrangements for the church social to he held on Friday evening of this week in the schoolroom. Before dispersing Mrs. Nicholas moved a vote of thank's to Mrs. Ross for the enjoyable afternoon which was earried jyith acclamation.
