PLUNKET CARNIVAL

PROCESSION AND WIND-UP TO-MORiROW. PRESENTATIONS IN TOWN HALL. The Plunket carnival will conclude to-morrow afternoon with a 'procession at 2 pan. frohn the Post Office to the 'Town Hall 'where presentations will he made to the bahy candidates and brief congratulatory speeches made and the children entertained at a picture programme. The Society extends a hearty invitation to the public to attend and to mark their appreciation of the splendid efforts of the various committees. A small charge of sixpence will be made for adults to defray expenses but children will be admitted free. All possessing cars, pram's or other vehicles are cordially requested to decorate same and join in the procession which will ho headed bv the Silver Band.
