Mr. A. Henderson, of Wellington, is on a holiday visit to Foxton and is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Heath. \ The death occurred in Wellington yesterday of Air. Sydney Nicholls, the old-time Poneke and Wellington full-back. He was 65 years of age. He leaves six sons, Sydney, H. G., H. E., Mark, Geoffrey and Guy, and two daughters, Mrs. De ( Cbmte and Miss Duleie Nicholls, the well-known tennis,, player. In connection with thcr .demise of the late Mr. Sydney Nicholls, it is interesting to note that . Mr. W. Bullai’d, of Foxton, was also a member of the old Poneke team at the saline time as the deceased.
