FOXTON D.H. SCHOOL
NEW JANITOR APPOINTED. A special meeting of the Foxton D.H. School 'Committee was held on Tuesday evening for the purpose of considering applications for the position of janitor rendered vacant by the resignation of Mr. Stone. There were present: Messrs J. K. Hornblow (chairman), A. 0. Huntley, H. Hutchins, Scott, G. F. Smith, M. E. Perreau, John Ross, R. Rangiheuea (lion, secretary), and the headmaster (Mr. F. A. Mason). An apology for absence was received from A. Stevenson. Four applications were received and after due consideration Mr. W. Howe was appointed. Mr. R. Rangiheuea, who was unavoidably absent from the annual meeting, was unanimously re-elec-ted jhon. secretary, and his past services were favourably commented upon. •The Comlmittee decided to cooperate with the teaching staff in a proposed valedictory social.
