Mr and Mrs A. Ross have returned to Foxton from Auckland and have again taken up their residence in their Purcell St. home. Miss by Desmond, of Wellington, is at present on holiday in Foxtom arid is staying with her brother, Mr F. Desmond. Local sympathy will be extended to 'Mrs J. MtoColl, whose (brother, Mr Alexander Candlish, was fatally injured in a motor cycle accident in Christchurch last week. Mr H. Robinson, of the local Post Office, has rereived intimation that he will be transferred to Wairoa at an early date. Mr Roibinson, who has been a popular member of the local Post Office for solme years now, will be missed from the staff by the general public. •
