MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB.
A meeting of those interested in the formation of a miniature rifle club locally Was held in Mr H. Earner’s shop last evening, and was well attended. Preliminary arrangements were dealt with, it being decided to form a club. Routine business was discussed, and it was decided to make provision for a range in Mr Hamer’s shop, and to purchase two rifles and the necessary gear. A further meeting will l)e held in Mr Hamer’s' shop next week to which an invitation is extended to all interested to be present. Apologies for absence .were received from several intending members. Mr S. J. Hartley was elected chairman and Mr I. Wright secretary. It was decided to arrange a friendly match with Oroua Downs at an early date. Delegates were appointed to attend the annual conference. The next meeting of the Club will he held in Mr Hamer’s shop next Wednesday evening.
