CENTRE -CHAMPIONSHIP. PALMERSTON DEFEATS FOXTON. By defeating Foxton, Heyes, J. Ross, Nye, Thomson (s), 26—23, Kerslake, Patou, Brown and Crump (s) of the Palmerston N. Bowling Club become the champion rink o£ the Manawatu Bowling Centre. The game was played on the winners’ green on Saturday afternoon. While scoring was large in the early heads, the game became close as it progressed and was keenly contested to the finish.
