BOY SCOUTS.

A committee meeting of the local Boy Scouts was held in All Saints’ schoolroom on Thursday evening. Mr. Perreau pi’esided. Thei’e wore also present: Messrs Walton, Warwick, jC'orn and Heyes. Routine business was discussed. The secretary reported that the boys had spent an enjoyable and instructive time in camp at Ohau and special thanks were due to Miss Kebbell for the use of camp equipment. It was reported that twenty-four members had passed then’ various tests. A visit had also been made to Palmerston North. The chairman congratulated the leaders) upon the good work accomplished and expressed regret at the departure of Mr. Baillie, who had instructed the scouts in signalling.
