BAND OF HOPE.
The first of the monthly meetings of the combined Band of Hope was held in the Presbyterian Sunday schoolroom last night. The address was given by the Rev. W. H. Nicholas. The following contributed items: —Pianoforte solo, Joan Cowley; pianoforte duet, Misses I, and M. Hughes; pianoforte solo, R. Munn; recitations, Joan Young, S. Barron, J. Stevenson, A. Dorset, Ada Dorset, J. Barron, R. Wishart, U. Thomson.
