The Horowhenua Electric Power Board notify that owing to alterations to lines, the power will be cut off between Shannon and Foxton, Foxton borough, and Manawatu Heads on Sunday, 24th March, 1929 from 1 p.m. to about 3.30 p.m. In to-day’s issue will be found the Railway Department’s advertisement in re the train arrangements for the Easter holidays. In addition to holiday excursion fares, special cheap fares are available to Feilding races and the trains run at very convenient times on both days of the races.
