FOXTON HARBOUR BOARD.

PROPOSED TO STRIKE A RATE. It is the intention of the secretary of the Foxton Hafibodr Board (Mr. R. Rangiheuea) to request the Board at its next meeting, to be held on the 25th of this month, to sanction the striking of a rate to raise £SOO, in order to enable the Board to carry on now that there is an absence of shipping locally.
