FIRE AT MANAWATU HEADS.
FOUR-ROOMED COTTAGE DESTROYED. A four-roomed cottage at Manawatu Heads, owned by Mr. Stan Wells, of Wanganui, was totally destroyed by lire about one o’clock this morning. The cause of the outbreak is a mystery as the dwelling had not been occupied for the iast three weeks. The house was insured in the Commercial Assurance Office but the amount is not available.
