FOXTON SWIMMING CARNIVAL.

RECORD ENTRIES. The Eoxton Swimming Club’s carnival to be held in the local baths on Saturday evening should attract a record attendance. Over 100 entries have been received which constitutes a record. The Palmerston Y.M.C.A. champion life-saving team will be in attendance and give an exhibition. Palmer, the sub-centre champion will be seen in action against Harrison, last year’s title-holder. Apart from, the above attractions the best swimlmers in the district will participate in the various events. Special accommodation will be provided for the public in, anticipation of a record attendance.
