VICE-REGAL TOUR.

Taumarunui, Yesterday. Sir Charles and Lady Alice Fergusson arrived in Taumarunui by special train last night. Their Excellencies left by car for Kirikau at 10.30 to-day. They will be on the houseboat to-morrow, and will leave by the boat for Pipiriki. From Pipiriki they continue down the river to Wanganui, where they will spend Friday night. The journey down will be broken to enable Their Excellencies to visit some of the pas, where they will be welcomed by Maori gatherings.
