LEARNING TO FLY.

ENTHUSIASM AT BLENHEIM. Blenheim, February 19. The Marlborough Aero Club’s first Gipsy Moth, which arrived from Christchurch last night after a smart trip of two hours, piloted by Captain Chandler, with C. A. MacDonald, the club’s secretary, as a passenger, was in the air again before 8 o’clock this morning with the first trainee pupil aboard. The instructor, Captain Chandler, will be a very busy man, as about 40 trainees are waiting a turn to fly already, and others are coming in. The club will have to ballot for places in the classes. A second Moth is expected in a fortnight.
