TOWN HALL. Madge Bellamy, ably assisted by Johnny Mack Brotwn and Walter McGrail, gains new laurels in Fox Films “The Play Girl,” coming to the Town Hall on Friday. The story is an original by John Stone, directed by Arthur Rosson. The central figure in, the story is Madge Bellamy, who enacts a young shop girl obsessed by a desire to wear beautiful clothes. She is flattered by the attentions of a bon vivante, who showers clothes and jdwels on her with a lavish hand. However, her guardian angel, in the form of Johnny Mack Brown, proves the utter worthlessness of luxury obtained in such a way. With a good supporting programme at usual prices. An all-star cast that is truly allstar enacts the gripping story of “Heart of a Nation,” the Universal super-production which will open at the Town Hall on Saturday. This cast includes George Sidney, Patsy Ruth Miller, George Lewis, Eddie Phillips, Beryl Mercer, John Boles, Albert Gran, Michael Visaroff, Daisy Belmore, Rosita Marstini, Andy De Vine, Kathlyu Williams, Edward Martindel, Josephine Dunn and Flora Bramley.
