FIRE BRIGADE.

The team to represent the local Fire Brigade at the demonstration and conference at Hokitika next week leaves for the South to-mor-row. The team will be as follows: —Deputy H. Reid, Firemen R. Parker and R. Desjardines, Secretary A. Wjalls and Driver A. Stevenson who will be the local delegate to the conference. The billiard team which journeyed to Feilding one evening last week in an endeavour to wrest the Coley Shield from the holders, were unsuccessful, Feilding again proving their right to hold the Shield for a further feign.
