INJURED AT SEA.

Auckland, February 16.

Mrs M. E. Bedford, aged 62, dislocated her collarbone by falling downstairs on the Maui Pornare when the vessel was en route from Norfolk Island in a rough sea. After first aid had been rendered, medical attention on arrival was requisitioned by wireless, and the Port Health Officer attended to the injured lady when the vessel arrived at 9.40 o’clock last night. Pratique was granted, and the other passengers were allowed ashore instead of waiting until morning as usual. Mi's. Bedford remained aboard, and was taken to hospital this morning.
