OROUA DOWNS SPORTS TO-MORROW.
A reminder is given of the Oroua Downs sports which are to be held on Messrs Stratford’s grounds tomorrow, commencing at 11.45 a.m. The Oroua Downs Club has a great reputation for its sports and 'there should ibe a large gathering there to witness this year’s events. Local residents are assured of an excellent day’s spost. The grounds provide every facility for a picnic. The events are many and varied and there should not be a dull moment throughout the day. The Foxton Silver band will be in attendance. In the evening a dance will be held in the hall. Larkin’s orchestra will provide the music and admission will be 3/- and 2/-.
