BOWLING
To-morrow afternoon teams from Palmerston North will visit Foxton in connection with the Fletcher Shield contest. The local Club will he represented by the following teams: — D. Christie, ,J. Barr, E. Parkin, W. Nye (s.) M. H. Walker, W. H. Walton, G. Scadden, F. Wloods (s.) John Ross, J. Newth, Stevenson, J. M. Thomson (s.) Emergencies: Messrs F. Robinson, A■ P. Easton and 11. Hamer. Play commences at 1.45 p.m. sharp. Local bowlers are requested to bring a basket to provide for afternoon tea.
