RACING.
At the opening day of the Wanganui Jockey Club’s meeting on Thursday, Mr. F. S. Easton’s Moutoa Treasury secured second place in the Stewards’ Handicap. In the same race Mr. V. E. Bryant’s Maui was a close fourth. In the Westmere Hurdles W. Bowden secured third money on Vexatious.
