MEDICAL MAN’S OPINION. Auckland, January 30. Dr. W. S. Handley, of London, arrived Iby the Maunganui this morning from Sydney, to address the delegates to the Medical 'Conference to be held in Wellington in February, on recent research in cancer. “T very much appreciate the invitation to New Zealand,” Dr. Handley said: “At, the conference in London last. Avas shoAvn that very definite, but. sloaav progress was being made in the treatment of cancer, especially in the use of radium and improved methods of operation.” Dr. Handley urged the importance of early treatment, and lie holds the emphatic opinion that cancer can be cured.
