ANOTHER STORM IN HAMILTON Auckland, January 29. Since the sitting of the Waikato Dioeesean Synod last July strong differences have existed betAveeu Bishop C. A. Cherrington and Dean G. R. Barnett of Hamilton. The strained relations have become accentuated recently and a fortnight ago the bishop Avrote to the Dean requesting him to foiward his resignation within seven days. The Dean replied declining to accede to the Bishop’s request and as a result a commission has been appointed to inquire into the question of the Dean’s fitness to retain office as Dean of the cathedral and vicar of St. Peter’s parish. The commission after hearing the eA'idence Avill report, to the bishop who Avill act in accordance with the commission's recommendation.
