YESTERDAY’S STORM
One of the worst southerly Storms experienced in this district for several years, occurred at an early hour yesterday morning. The gale, accompanied by heavy rain and a thunderstorm, lasted for several hours and the weather was very wintry. A good deal of damage was done to buildings, orchards and gardens. The s'tonn was reported as unprecedented in severity for midsummer from other parts of the Dominion.
