CAR SOMERSAULTS
A ear containing Mr. and Mrs. J. Fitch and their three children, of Palmerston North, somersaulted in some loose shingle on the road between Bulls and Turakina on Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Fitch nvere securely held by the weight of the. car upon them, but two of the children managed to crawl from underneath. Help was soon at hand, five young men —students' of the Church of Christ —en route to Palmerston conning on the scene. They quickly righted the ear and released the prisoners from the very painful and dangerous predicament.
Mrs. Fitch was rather badly hurt, and was sent on to the Palmerston North hospital where she was found to have a severe cut- in her leg, while her face was very much bruised and her right hand hurt. Mr. Fitch escaped with cuts and bruises and' the children with bruises and a severe shaking.|
