DUEL WITH RAZORS.
SEAMAN’S GHASTLY FIGHT. Newcastle, January 13. Two seafaring men, William M:Quivk, aged 29, and John McEwan, aged 37, Avere found by the police in a. room bearing ghastly in-juries and marks which they aa ill fairy all their lives. The police say that a Avoman watched a. deadly razor duel, in which the men Avere Avounded. Blood streamed from slashes on their heads and bodies. Both victims refused to give the police any inf .••/nation. Twenty-one stitches were inserted in a wound in M‘o lurk’s face, and M‘Ewan’s nostril was either bitten or cut clean ,off. The men were, covered from head to foot with blood, which also bespattered the room. Both are in ,a serious condition.
