VALEDICTORY
Mrs. Baillie, who has been a member of the local High School teaching staff for the past three years and who has been appointed to a position on the staff of the ITutt Valley School, was the guest of .honour at an evening given by Mr. and Mrs. Doel at their residence lust evening. Among those present were members of the school staff and chairman of Committee. After a pleasant social .time had been spent, the toast of the guest was proposed by Mr. Doel and supported by Mr. F. A. Mason (headmaster) and Mr. ,J. K. Bornblow (chairman of Committee). The speakers expressed regret that the school was losing the services of such a capable and enthusiastic teacher who had won not only the regard of the scholars, hut of all qonjnec.tcd with the school. The wish was expressed for her future success and happiness. The toast was drunk Avi'th musical honours. Mr. Baillie on behalf of his wife, feelingly acknowledged and thanked all present for their good wish - es.
