RAINFALL IN 1928.
COMPARATIVE FIGURES. Waihi’s total rainfall for tho past year, 127.34 in., was Sin. greater than the record established in 1907. The rainfall in the Kereru district, H. 8., last year was 59.08 inches, 21; inches above the average. The rainfall at Hamilton for 1928 totalled 54.79 in. In April 9.23 in. i was recorded. The average rainfall for a number of years has been about 50in. The rainfall registered at Reefton for Decembei\Was 5.99 inches and the total for the year 75.39 inches.
