The figures for the quarter ended December 30th, 1928, with the figures for the corresponding period last year in parenthesis, are as follows:—Births \l2 (16), deaths 3 (4), marriages 1 (2). Mjaori statistics: Births .1 (1), deaths 3 (2).~ The statistics for the year ended December 30th, with the corresponding figures for the previous year, in parenthesis, are as follows:—; Births 55 (70), deaths 17 (24), marriages 29 (10). Maori: Births 3 (3), deaths 7 (7).
