MANAWATU RACING CLUB MEETING. i SECOND DAY’S RACING. The second day of the Manawatu Rac-ing Club’s Christmas meeting was held at Awapuni on Thursday, when a good attendance was Recorded. The totqlisator receipts were £33,777, as against £41,333 for the corresponding day last year, a decrease of £7,556. Palmerston North Stakes, 6 fur-longs.-r-Gascony 1, Reremoana 2. Admiral Drake 3. Time 1.14 2-5. Terrace Handicap, 7 furlongs.— Full Mark 1, Thrift 2, Roi de Yal 3. Time 1.28 2-5. Himatangi Handicap, 9 furlongs. —Singleton 1, Sir Ray- 2, Maui 3. Time 1.54 4-5. Awapuni Handicap, 6 furlongs.— Silver Paper 1, Arrow Lad 2, NigLtniarch 3. Time 1.14 1-5.
