BEACH IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Beach Improvement Committee was held in , the (Beach Hall last night, presided over by Mr. Dawiek. The secretary (Mr. Whitehead) submitted the annual report and balancesheet (as previously published) v which was adopted. Captain Larsen reported that the life-saving apparatus had been overhauled and was ready for any emergency. It was decided to purchase a piano for the halL , The question of tree-planting was discussed and it was decided to apply to the Harboun Board for suitable trees which the committee would undertake to plant. The outgoing committee was reelected with the addition of Mr. Robert. " ,
