BAY OF ISLANDS SEAT.
PETITION FOR ANOTHER ELECTION. Whangarei, December 20. A meeting of the Country party was held a,t Ohaeawai this, afternoon to consider the position in regard to the Bay of Islands seat. The meeting which was. attended by party members, was held mainly in camera. A committee was appointed to deal with the situation arising out of a petition for another election, Avhieh it Avas understood, is to be lodged.
