GARDEN PARTY

A successful garden party was held in the Convent grounds yesterday afternoon. There was a large attendance and and financial the function was a great success. A putting competition was held during the afternoon which created a good deal of interest, and was won by Mr. M. B. Bergin. A cake and sweet stall under the management of Mrs. D. Purcell and Misses A. and G. Neylon did good business. St. Mary’s Convent intend holding a bazaar at an early date in the Masonic Hall.
