The Department of Agriculture has received a correction of the mutilated word indicated in its circular of 3rd instant, quoting a cablegram received from the High. Commissioner for New Zealand, London. The “New Zealand” section of the hemp report now reads as follows: —• Hemp.—New Zealand market quiet. Buyers holding back from price asked by shippers. for afloat satisfied for time being. Closing values: High points, £34 10s; fair, £3O 15s; common, £29. Tow No. 2, £2O 10s; No. 3, £lB 10s, November to January shipments.
