OBITUARY.
MBS. E. HAWKINS. There passed away in the Wellington Hospital on November 26th, after a short illness, Elizabeth Hawkins, relict of the late Mr. C. D. Hawkins, and mother of Mrs. F. Robinson, of • Thynne Street, Foxton, in her Sstb year. The late Mrs. Hawkins was born in Watford, Herts, England, on June sth, .1843 and came out to New Zealand with her husband in 1874 on the ship “Sougkar,” settling in Turakina. During, the ensuing years the late Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins were resident in Whenuakura, Patea, Maxwelltown, Foxton, and Wellington. Mrs. Hawkin’s husband predeceased her 37 years ago. The late Mrs. Hawkins [eaves six children to mourn their loss. They are Mesdames A. Mallinson (Greymouth), F. Hadfield (Newtown, Wellington), H. Harris (Shannon), E. Robinson (Foxton), and Messrs W. Hawkins (Whangarei), and C. Hawkins (Masterton). There are 28 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. The interment took place at Wellington on Thursday.
