BAND OF HOPE
The last of a series of Band of Hope meetings this year was held in the Presbyterian schoolroom last evening, presided over by Rev. W. H. Nicholas. During the evening items were contributed by the following: —Rally song, Girl Guides, dialogue, Bible Class girls; pianoforte duet, M. Stevenson and R. Barron, P. Tongs; recitations, 11. Hughes, A. Dorset, P. Symes, F. Andrews, F. Good, A. Craig, S. Barron, N. Reader; pianofore duets, M. Barron and H. Tongs, N. and V. Botaroff; violin and pianofort eduet, M. Stevenson and R, Munn; songs, B. Thomson, K. Leach, U. Thomson, N. Reader ; rod drill, M. Craig; round, N. Reader, N. Chrystall and S. Barron.
