THE SHANNON BRIDGE.

TO BE OPENED SHORTLY. It was reported at the local Chamber .of Commerce meeting on Thursday eyening that the Shannon Bridge would be opened within a very short time. The approaches, which have been the cause of the delay in opening the bridge, age now almost completed, and as soon as they are finished the bridge will be officially opened. The antiquated punt will then be relegated to the past from which it was resurrected, for good and all, we hope.
