PERSONAL.
Mrs. and Miss A. Levy have returned to Palmerston North after spending a short holiday at the local seaside. Rev. W. H. Nicholas who is a member of the local Masonic Lodge, was elected Grand Chaplain at the annual communication of Grand Lodge, held in Dunedin yesterday. The friends of Mrs. S. H. Poole, who recently underwent an operation in a Wanganui Hospital, will be pleased to learn that she is making good progress towards recovery and will be able to return home in a short while.
