HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLE. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated 24th instant, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: — Hemp. —Manila market better tone and more trade interest shown. Closing value for Deeember-Febru-ary shipments “J” grade £35. Sisal. —Market firm with buyers at £39 for No. 1 in any position until April-June shipment, and No. 2 £36 15/-. New Zealand. —Market unchanged. Small business doing, principally afloat, at high-points £33 15/-, fair £3O 15/-, common £29. Stocks in Great Britain on 31st October, 51 tons against 88 tons same time last year. Tow quiet and little offering. Values unchanged.
