SEQUEL TO MOTOR SMASH.

At the Palmerston North Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, Clarence A. A. Pritchard was charged that, at Shannon, on September 25, he did drive a motor lorry without keeping to the left hand side of the road. Defendant, by letter, pleaded not guilty. Senior-Sergeant Whitehouse staled that defendant had collided with a service car and a' passenger had been injured. He had been on the wrong side of the road. A fine of £2 was imposed, with 16/- costs.
