BOWLING.

The first round of the Triangular Shield contest will be played at Foxton on Wednesday, November 7th. when one rink each from Otaki, Shannon and Levin dubs will compete with three local rinks. To-morrow afternoon the following Foxton howlers will play on the local green, so that the three necessary rinks may be chosen therefrom :

Mattar, Wjalton, Heyes, Nye (s). P. Easton, Walker, Bryant, Woods (s). Scadclen, Stevenson, Christie, Thomson (s).
