TOWN HALL. Something decidedly different in pictures. That is the first impression movie-lovers will get from “Telling the World,” the next Me-tro-Goldwyn-Mayer starring vehicle for William Haines, which will be shown at the Town Hall theatre on Friday. William Haines gave us the romance of golf in “Spring Fever,” the romance of a military cadet’s life in “West Point,” the romance of polo in “The Smart Set,” and now he gives us the romance of the great Press Agencies, operating throughout the world, in his latest attraction. Haines has the part of a newspaper reporter in “Telling the World,”' and though his ness riles his associates he proves that he has a real “nose for news.” A fortunate accident wins him fame —and love. But the girl fears his indifference, and accepts an offer to tour China with a revue company. This causes the young man to follow her —aloug a path of thrills and adventure. With supporting films at usual prices. A fine- mystery comedy-drama “Fingerprints,” will head Saturday’s programme. Louise Fazenda is the star. Usual prices. ROYAL. “The Leather Pushers” have virtually come to life again in Reginald Denny’s new feature comedy, “On Your. Toes,” which will screen at the Royal theatre on Saturday.
