TOM HEENEY DEPARTS FOR U.S.A.
Auckland, Last Night. Tom Heeney and his -wife left by the Niagara. Heeney paid a surprise visit to the Community Sunshine Club and presented the boys with a pair of boxing gloves and a punching bag. The boys in turn presented Mrs. Heeney with a New Zealand flag to give for exhibition in a suitable club in New York, as a memento of their admiration for her husband.
